WSET Level 3 Gift Certificate may be used for any WSET Level 3 class in Chicago or Cleveland. The gift certificate may be applied toward live classes or online classes. Materials will be shipped to the recipient once they have selected a class location and date. Shipping is free! This advanced-level course provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and winemaking. Upon completion, students will be able to assess wines accurately and use their understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. This course results in a WSET Level 3 certificate. We highly suggest candidates take Level 2 before taking Level 3 unless they have several years of experience in the wine industry. -

Perfect for people new to the world of wine, Wine 101 is designed to teach you how to taste wine like a professional. The course is one night for 2 hours (6pm - 8pm CST). It is taught by a live instructor online. No experience required. From your local retailer, please have the following wines ready during class: Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, California Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from Oregon or France, and a Zinfandel from California. This is a custom-hybrid course recommended for those who have earned the Intermediate Certificate, or have a good foundation of wine knowledge. The class begins with at home study and an in-person tasting day in Jan 2022 before participating in a Virtual, instructor-led program. After the Virtual portion of the program, an all day exam prep sessions take place in person in Pittsburgh. The sessions include review lectures, tastings, and exam prep. Successful candidates receive the Level 3 Certificate of the WSET.

This course is a hybrid course. The first class is taught by an American Wine School instructor on ZOOM. The second & third classes are taught in-person in Pittsburgh. Once you register, study materials will be sent to you via regular mail. The exam is given on the same day as the in-person classes. -
