This entry level course provides basic information on basic grape varieties, introduction to wine tasting, food and wine pairing as well as basic service knowledge. Perfect for people new to the world of wine, this course results in a WSET Level 1 certificate and is a great starting point for most novice consumers. No experience required.
This course is a hybrid course. The first class is taught by an American Wine School instructor on ZOOM. The second & third classes are taught in-person in Pittsburgh. Once you register, study materials will be sent to you via regular mail. The exam is given on the same day as the in-person classes.
