AWS FLEX-STUDY® COURSES🆕
Created to offer the most flexibility for those pursuing wine studies, AWS Flex-Study®, provides a mix of virtual & online instruction as well as one-on-one feedback to practice questions and tasting notes by AWS-trained, learning tutors. While the educational content of the course is available 24-7, and may be viewed at any time, all AWS Flex-Study® courses begin with a virtual, instructor-led, launch session giving learners the opportunity to participate, meet other candidates, and ask questions about the course, wines, or exam. Launch sessions have set dates and focus on course induction as well as wine tasting. The sessions are recorded for future viewing by candidates who were unable to attend the launch session or perhaps would like to watch the session again. After the virtual launch session, all education content such as practice quizzes, tasting note feedback, narrated presentation, and recorded lectures may be viewed anytime during the course. This allows candidates the flexibility to work at their own pace.
In addition to a set launch session, each AWS Flex-Study® Course has an exam date & time associated with it. For Levels 1 & 2, the exam may be taken online from the comfort of your home or in-person in Chicago. Candidates must decide on which exam mode they would like to take at the time of registration. Once the exam mode has been registered, it cannot be changed as exams are ordered weeks in advance. The exam for Level 3 must be taken in person in Chicago.
