AWS 4-Course Series: The Wines of France
Part of the American Wine School 4-course series, Wines of France takes a dive into the major regions of France. The first class takes place virtually on Zoom to review basic grape growing, winemaking and tasting techniques. Sit and sip during the class and learn how professional’s taste wine in the comfort of your own home.
After the first class, the remaining three (3) classes are in-person. Through lecture and tutored tastings, the in-person classes will include information on wine laws, labelling terms, and grape varieties along with environmental factors that make each region special and unique. Participants can take a post-class quiz to test their learning.
No experience required. Each series class is $250 per person.
The Wines of France includes:
- One Instructor-led Viticulture & Vinification Lecture online via Zoom
- Course Materials (mailed via regular mail upon course registration)
- Three In-person class wines
- Post-course quiz online
