It is assessed by means of a 90 min open-response exam that is offered several times a year. The course fee includes online Flex-study Portal, Virtual Zoom Lectures, and exam fee. The Flex-study Portal is an independent study program with quizzes, activities, and a mock exam to help you move through the content. Guided by an online facilitator, the Flex-study Portal also has recorded lectures. The American Wine School Virtual sessions are instructor-led lectures on ZOOM with specific dates and times. The Business of wine covers the costs involved in producing wine including winery, distribution, and transportation costs as well as marketing expenses. It is assessed by means of a 60 min open-response exam that is offered 4 times a year: Jan, March, June, and October. The course includes both American Wine School Flex-Study Portal and American Wine School led virtual classes on Zoom. The Flex-Study Portal is an independent study program with quizzes and activities to help you move through the content. Guided by an online tutor, the Flex-Study Portal does not have lectures. This course is taught online via the WSET Global Classroom. There are no scheduled lectures. Instead, this flexible study program offers quizzes and activities online with a tutor. The in-person exam takes place in Chicago or you may opt to take your exam online from the comfort of your own home. A log-in code will be sent to you by WSET the week that the class opens. Exam location will be Sofitel, 20 E. Chestnut Street, Chicago. Your study material will be sent to you via mail as soon as you purchase the class. -
