This course is recommended for those who have earned the Intermediate Certificate, or have a good foundation of wine knowledge. This program is a hybrid course designed to provide candidates with both Virtual (instructor-led lectures and pre-recorded lectures) and In-person classroom instruction. The WSET Level 3 exam consists of two sections: Theory and Tasting. To thoroughly prepare candidates for the exam, the Virtual sessions focus primarily on theory via Instructor-led lectures on Zoom, and the in-person session focus on both tasting and theory. To prepare for the exam, candidates will be asked to submit weekly tasting notes for one-on-one feedback to perfect wine tasting notes using the WSET SAT as will as access to an online practice quiz. We highly suggest candidates order their study materials well in advance of the class to study at home. Flash cards, note taking, and reading the book is a must before class. Successful candidates receive the Level 3 Certificate of the WSET. -

WSET Level 2 Gift Certificate may be used for any WSET Level 2 class in Chicago or Cleveland. The gift certificate may be applied toward live classes or online classes. Materials will be shipped to the recipient once they have selected a class location and date. Shipping is free! This entry-level course provides basic information on grape varieties and wine regions around the world. Students will learn about the styles of wines produced as well as key classification and labeling terms. This course results in a WSET Level 2 certificate and provides an overview of the key categories of spirits and wines. No experience required. -

Additionally, the course includes service, storage and tasting techniques. This course results in a WSET Level 2 certificate. No experience required. This course is taught by a live instructor online and is delivered over 6 weeks. Once you register, study materials will be sent to you via regular mail. You can begin studying immediately. A class link will be sent to you via email a few days before the class begins. While the classroom is virtual and contains all the content, materials, and instruction a live class would, students are required to purchase their own wine.
