This entry level course provides basic information on basic grape varieties, introduction to wine tasting, food and wine pairing as well as basic service knowledge. Perfect for people new to the world of wine, this course results in a WSET Level 1 certificate and is a great starting point for most novice consumers. No experience required. This course is a hybrid course. The first class is taught by an American Wine School instructor on ZOOM. The second class is taught in-person in Pittsburgh. Once you register, study materials will be sent to you via regular mail. -
This course is a hybrid course with 3 classes taking place on Zoom and 3 classes taking place on one day in Detroit. The exam will take place in Detroit or may be taken online. Students will receive their study materials as soon as they register for the course. Once the materials have arrived, please start reading the book and taking notes, making flash cards etc. You need to come to class prepared having read the book. -
