This course is recommended for those who have earned the Intermediate Certificate, or have a good foundation of wine knowledge. This program is a hybrid course designed to provide candidates with both Virtual (instructor-led lectures and pre-recorded lectures) and In-person classroom instruction. The WSET Level 3 exam consists of two sections: Theory and Tasting. To thoroughly prepare candidates for the exam, the Virtual sessions focus primarily on theory via Instructor-led lectures on Zoom, and the in-person session focus on both tasting and theory. To prepare for the exam, candidates will be asked to submit weekly tasting notes for one-on-one feedback to perfect wine tasting notes using the WSET SAT as will as access to an online practice quiz. We highly suggest candidates order their study materials well in advance of the class to study at home. Flash cards, note taking, and reading the book is a must before class. Successful candidates receive the Level 3 Certificate of the WSET. -
This course and exam will take place in in-person in Chicago at Binny's Beverage Depot in Lincoln Park. Students will receive their study materials as soon as they register for the course. Once the materials have arrived, please start reading the book and taking notes, making flash cards etc. You need to come to class prepared having read the book. -

Once the materials have arrived, please start reading the book and taking notes, making flash cards etc. You need to come to class prepared having read the book and watched the recorded video lectures. The course begins with a ZOOM launch prior to the immersion course. The exam is offered in person at Binny's in Lincoln Park OR online. Candidates must state which mode of exam they would like to sit at the time of purchase. Once an exam preference has been registered, it cannot be changed.
