The online course is based around a 4-week, 7 module online learning programme with educator support available during this time. Each module includes a series of independent activities to help you understand the differences between grape varieties and types and styles of wine. The WSET Global Classroom D3 Diploma course focuses on the wines of the world. The course includes the Diploma D3 eBook and online activities and quizzes led by WSET. The American Wine School offers one-on-one tasting feedback online. The American Wine School also offers Virtual lectures on Zoom for select wine regions. The D3 exam is offered May and Oct of each year. The exam is given over two days in Chicago. -

This course is for those who have earned the WSET Level 3 in Wines. The virtual D4 Diploma course focuses on sparkling wines around the world. The course includes the Diploma D4 eBook, Online Course and American Wine School Virtual Classes on Zoom. The D4 exam takes place in Chicago. The exam date is associated with the course and cannot be changed as exams are ordered in advance. Candidates who miss their scheduled exam will be subject to a missed exam fee. -

Perfect for people new to the world of wine, this course results in a WSET Level 1 Wine Award certificate and is a great starting point for novice consumers. No experience required. This course is an online course that begins with an instructor-led launch session on ZOOM. This 2-hour session is recorded and can be viewed anytime for those who cannot attend. A class link will be sent to you via email a few days before the class begins. This course contains the same content and materials of our in-person course, however, students are responsible for securing wines locally. A list of suggested wines will be provided during the launch session. -
This course is recommended for those who have earned the Intermediate Certificate, or have a good foundation of wine knowledge. This program is a hybrid course designed to provide candidates with alternating Virtual (instructor-led lectures and pre-recorded lectures) and In-person classroom instruction. The WSET Level 3 exam consists of two sections: Theory and Tasting. To thoroughly prepare candidates for the exam, the Virtual sessions focus primarily on theory via Instructor-led lectures on Zoom, and the in-person session focus on both tasting and theory. To prepare for the exam, candidates will be asked to submit weekly tasting notes for one-on-one feedback to perfect wine tasting notes using the WSET SAT as will as access to an online practice quiz. We highly suggest candidates order their study materials well in advance of the class to study at home. Flash cards, note taking, and reading the book is a must before class. Successful candidates receive the Level 3 Certificate of the WSET. -
