The virtual D6 Diploma course is an independent research paper on a wine-related topic. Each year on Aug 1st, WSET announces two new topics for the coming academic year. Candidates may selected a topic that interests them and complete a 3,000 word research paper independently. The topic of this paper is South African Wine Industry. Candidates must register by purchasing this product by January 7, 2022. The submission date for a hard copy of the paper is January 31, 2022.

The course includes the Diploma D5 eBook, WSET Online Program to include activities and quizzes led by a WSET tutor, and American Wine School Virtual Classes on Zoom. The D5 exam will take place on June 19, 2022 at 3:30pm in Chicago.
