AWS FLEX-STUDY ™ COURSES🆕
American Wine School’s unique online format gives students maximum study flexibility with 1-on-1 feedback. AWS Flex-Study courses begin with a live, instructor-led Zoom session. Students then move through the program online at their own pace via access to the AWS Study Portal, which contains pre-recorded lectures, videos, practice quizzes, tasting note assignments, instructor feedback and more. Exams are held in-person at an AWS location, with Level 1 and 2 students also having the option to take their exam online from their office or home. For all levels, a suggested tasting list is provided to help students select wines or spirits to purchase locally. AWS Candidates are asked to submit tasting notes for one-on-one feedback by the course educator. All Level 1 & 2 courses, both spirits and wine, end with a multiple choice exam that may be taken online or in-person in Chicago or Detroit. Level 3 course exams must be taken in person in Chicago or Detroit. The American Wine School offers AWS Flex-Study® for WSET Level 1 Wine, Level 2 Wine, Level 3 Wine, Level 1 Spirits, Level 2 Spirits, and L4 Diploma.
