Deborah O’Brien Women in Wine Scholarship

On Nov 13, 2025, the American Wine School launch the Deborah O’Brien Women in Wine Scholarship. The Women in Wine Scholarship was created in memory of Deborah O’Brien, who contributed to the wine community for many years through her passion as a sales representative and student of wine. Her curiosity, her love of life and its simple pleasures, led her to pursue a deep knowledge of the wine world. This scholarship is established to provide financial assistance for other women who share the same passion by assisting them in pursuing professional certifications and career advancement in the Wine Industry. This scholarship is managed by the Glancy Wine Education Foundation. To apply, fill out a scholarship application on the Glancy Wine Education Foundation website
