Fun and eye-opening, this interactive class showcases the structural components of both food and wine through simple culinary interactions. This course is recommended for those who have earned the Intermediate Certificate, or have a good foundation of wine knowledge. The class begins with virtual classes online. An exam prep course (2 hours live in Chicago) is also included the day before your scheduled exam. We highly suggest candidates order their study materials well in advance of the class to study at home. Flash cards, note taking, and reading the book is a must before class. The sessions include Virtual lectures, and In-person tastings, and exam prep. Successful candidates receive the Level 3 Certificate of the WSET. -
This course is taught as a hybrid class with both instructor-led courses on Zoom and in-person classes in Pittsburgh. The course also offers online practice quizzes and tasting note feedback to support your studies. Successful completion results in the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines. Course materials will be sent as soon as we receive your registration. -

This course and exam will take place in in-person in Chicago at Binny's Beverage Depot in Lincoln Park. Students will receive their study materials as soon as they register for the course. Once the materials have arrived, please start reading the book and taking notes, making flash cards etc. You need to come to class prepared having read the book. -

While this course contains all the same content, materials, and delivery of a face-to-face course, students will be responsible for securing the wines and a price reduction has been given to reflect the wine purchase. That said, there is no blind tasting on this exam so the number of wines is limited (3 reds, 2 whites, and 1 sweet wine) and we can, most likely, use what you have on hand.
